It’s New Year’s Eve, so I wanted to take a moment to wish you all a Happy New Year. Thanks for your continued readership and support in 2008. Your return visits, your comments, and your subscribership are greatly appreciated.
New Year’s is a time when we make resolutions. But resolutions are often broken. Instead, I prefer to set goals, with the sole resolution to meet them. What are my goals for 2009? It all boils down to three simple words…

I often get requests from people asking me what plugins do I use on this blog. Or, what are my favorite plugins. Sometimes, I post about them. But these lists usually become stale fast, because I test new plugins and change them all the time.
So I wanted to post an update and list some of my favorite plugins. However, it was cumbersome to pick and choose which ones I wanted to post about because there are so many. So I’ve decided to do something different this year.
Using a plugin that lists all the plugins in use on a particular blog (I’ll share that one with you in a moment), I managed to print a list of all my plugins in a single post.
However, the descriptions you will read are those of the plugin authors. Some of them are poor and insufficient. Others don’t explain how I use them specifically on this blog.
So I’ve also added a mini-description with additional comments to each plugin to explain why, how, or where I’ve used it on this blog. I sincerely hope this list is useful to you. If it is, consider it a Christmas gift from me.

I want to give you a quick update on things. You may have noticed I haven’t blogged anything new in a while. But there’s a reason.
Before I explain, check out this free newsletter. It’s high quality, with top-shelf content, and it’s 100% free. I’m proud of it, because I was a part of its inception, and my wife and I are in the premiere issue.
I believe it’s going to be the gold standard in the Internet marketing newsletter industry. When so many newsletters out there are paid for and marketer-specific, this newsletter covers a wide range of marketing topics, strategies, and experts.
And the topics are not overly generalized, theoretical or philosophical stuff. There’s going to be tons of strategy-specific ways to maximize your marketing and your moneymaking efforts. A great way to start 2009!
Note that there will be an offer on the resulting thank-you page for a different product. But you’re not held hostage, and the newsletter will still arrive in your email inbox, even if you refuse. It’s not mandatory at all. Sign up and instantly get your first issue.
Now, speaking of my wife, here’s the reason why I’ve been out of the loop…

My wife found this today, at a time I needed it the most. And it’s so inspirational… so moving… that I had to share it with you.
If you think there’s no hope, if you think you have obstacles you can’t overcome, if you’re thinking about giving up, then you absolutely, positively MUST watch this short video.
I dare you to keep a dry eye.

It’s my wife Sylvie Fortin’s birthday today. (Yes, she’s a Hallowe’en child! She’s dressing up as Lucy Ricardo tonight.) But apparently, she’s the one giving out the gifts — or is that treats?
You see, the other day my wife held a private, closed-door webinar that shows you how to both spot and tap hungry markets — there are a few million-dollar tips in there! Fortunately, we recorded it.
And right now, we’re releasing it to the public for free!
I’m proud of my wife, her brilliance, and the knowledge she so willingly shares. And when I say her “brilliance,” I mean it in more ways than one. In fact, it’s golden! Go check out the video below and you’ll see exactly what I mean…

Last week I told you about Robert Plank’s product, SpeedCopySecrets.com, which I highly recommend.
While nothing beats learning great copywriting, this product is fantastic for anyone who wants to know how to come up with copy really fast that’s good enough to start selling with.
It’s also really good for non-copywriters and marketers who don’t want to take the time to learn how to write copy or pay an expensive copywriter to have it written for them.
So I’ve decided to record a quick review of Robert Plank’s SpeedCopySecrets.com. To watch, simply click on “play” below. It’s very brief (just a few minutes), but in it I go through the product and tell you what I like best about it…

After my recent push for Robert Plank’s Speed Copy Secrets copywriting special report on how to write copy in under an hour, I wanted to test a few other things from Robert, since he’s a gifted programmer and offers some neat scripts.
(Actually, I recently bought everything from Robert I could get my hands on, and so far I’m thoroughly impressed. Specifically, his “Full-Blast PHP” and “Sales Page Tactics Volumes 1-3″ products are fabulous.)
I’m testing just a couple of Robert’s scripts on this blog, and early results are stunning. Let me share with you a few test results…
